Matthew Murphy is a paralegal and assistant to Mark Eckman and Vivian Datoff. He was born in Nagoya, Japan.  During his childhood, his parents were officers with the United States Foreign Service and the Murphy Family lived overseas for fifteen years in Burma, Djibouti, Guinea, Japan, and Taiwan.

He obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Affairs and International History from George Mason University in 2006 and has completed his Master’s in International Relations at Georgetown University in 2013.   

 

​Matthew has worked for The Datz Foundation on immigration and adoption issues since 2005. He has an interest in foreign policy, food, and travel.  He currently resides in McLean, Virginia.
